Vanish'd

I know, I know, I know. I've been gone for a while, no? Thanks for all the comments while I've been out and about (yes, all of them, even the scary apocalyptic ones).

Until further notice, I guess this blog is on hold while we explore Heritage and UUism. (Quit making the sign of the devil, please.) Bradley and I have found something unique and compelling to the both of us, and we've agreed that what we most want at this time is to explore the church-- to dive in head first and see how it feels.

I don't consider this journey to be over, but I can't say when, if ever, Church Hop will be regularly updated again. If you would like to be notified when something new happens here, email me at redrabbit[at]gmail[dot]com. Or use the RSS feeds, whatevs.

Thank you for your readership, and definitely for your feedback on all matters Church Hop. :)

I wonder if there is anyone in your circle of friends (or blog readers) who would be interested in taking up the Church Hop mission.
Perhaps you could have "guest" hoppers for awhile.

@d-mc: I'll let you know when new things happen here. And thank you for the link-- I love projects like that, and I know I'll be doing more in the future! :)

@lewis: I know! But I've never gotten much of a bite when I've suggested guest Hopping before... we've had a couple of guest Hops, but no one has really seemed all that interested in picking up where we're leaving off. :(

I just found your blog a few weeks before it seems you've finished it up. If you ever get a change to visit University Christian Church in Clifton, I'd love to read about your visit. You may have another unique experience to report after visiting.

I am glad that you have possibly found a church home. I hope this church community helps you along on your spiritual journey and leads you to a closer relationship with God and since I am a Christian also His son Jesus.

Hey I just found your site because I wanted to check out a church I heard about. I know this isn't in line with "Church Hopping" but as a reader I would be interested in continuing to hear about what you are learning and how you are growning and how where you are going is affecting you ect. To me that would be a very interesting read.

Thanks for all the hard work you've done.

I just discovered your blog - just as you seem to be ending your church-hopping adventures!

I'm an Atheist living in one of the reddest of red states (Oklahoma), and I've been sporadically church-hopping (and blogging about it) for the last few months. My intent is not to mock people of faith, I'm simply tired of feeling so divided. I want to understand what drives people of faith. This pursuit is not only fascinating to me from a sociological perspective, I also hope to grow personally from my experiences.

While I find it unlikely that my own beliefs and views will be changed, I think there is always something learn from people different than yourself.

I applaud you, and hope you won't mind if I borrow a few of your charter rules for my own use.

I tried to leave the link to my blog, but it didn't seem to come up with my name.

let me add my good wishes for you... I've enjoyed reading your experiences and found them very helpful as a pastor. At the same time I had this ache in my heart that wished you could find a place that truly fit for you. It seems that you have and that is wonderful
blessings,
